    The National Memorial Chorten: Built-in the memory of the third Druk Gyalpo (Head of Kingdom) of Bhutan, the National Memorial Chorten is devoted to World Peace. The Chorten popular amongst the localities for various major Buddhist religious festivals and it is one of the best places to see in Thimphu Bhutan. Buddha Dordenma Statue: Atop a hill in Thimphu, is a massive, golden Buddha sitting atop a gilded meditation hall. Hidden inside it has 125,000 smaller Buddhas. This means that in Thimphu, there are more Buddha statues than this city’s population (100000),It is also known as Buddha point. Simply Bhutan (Living Museum): It is a living museum run fully by the youth and supported by Bhutan Youth Development Fund. The museum gives a glimpse of the traditional Bhutanese life. There is a small collection of typical household objects and tools. The youth guide also explained how the Bhutanese used to build houses out of mud, the making of wheat wine etc. One can try their traditional costumes (Gho & Kira) and have photos taken for free. There are also traditional dance performances. One can also purchase some handicraft for souvenir as well as supporting them. Overall, it was an interesting experience. Sangaygang View Point: There is a beautiful view point in Bhutan called Sangaygang. It is the location for the tower which transmits the national television channel of Bhutan called BBS. A wonderful view of Thimphu, capital city of Bhutan, can be observed from this view point. On clear, cloudless days, a beautiful panoramic view of the whole city from point of view can be captured with a camera. Thousands of prayer flags can be seen, fluttering in the air. Changangkha Lhakhang – In Thimphu there are many monasteries and temple that you will get to see and among them. Changangkha Lhakhang is one of the most religious structures. It was built in the 12th century and its one of the oldest Lhakhang located in Thimphu. It’s also known as the wish fulfilling temple, from here you can see the amazing view of Thimphu city. The Motithang Takin Preserve: For animal lovers, Motithang Takin Preserve is one of the best places to visit in Thimphu. This attractive preserved area was built as a small zoo but later it was converted into an animal preserve centre. Takin -The national animal of Bhutan, lives in the Motithang Takin Preserve in Thimphu The Clock Tower: Clock Tower Square is an example of a great architectural marvel. It is a tower with four clock faces, which makes it different from any other building or structure in Bhutan. One of the most popular places among visitors, people usually visit here in the evening to enjoy the beautiful paintings and carvings. There are many restaurants and souvenir shops near this tower. TashiChho Dzong: It is a monastery which is located next to bank of Wang Chhu River, it is also known as Thimphu Dzong. Annual 3 days Tsechu festival is also hosted every year at TashiChho Dzong.     Dochula Pass: It is located between Thimphu and Punakha which is around 3100 m high, here you can see scenic view of the Eastern Himalayan. Punakha Dzong: It is the most beautiful Dzong located at in two rivers named Pho Chu (male) and Mo Chu (female) in Punakha, Mo Chu is widely preferred for the first-timers, kids and elderly people. Located near Lobesa, it stands on a round hillock and was built in 1499 by the 14th Drukpa hierarch, Ngawang Choegyel, after the site was blessed by the "Divine Madman" the maverick saint Drukpa Kunley (1455–1529) who built a chorten on the site.     Chendebji Chorten: Located at 2430m, built in the style of the great Bodhanath Temple of Nepal, was constructed by Tshering Wangchuk son of Yon-Say and the Mahasiddha Zhidag in accordance with the prophecy of the second Gangteng Tulku Tenzin Lekpai Dhundrup in order to subdue harmful demons. Trongsa Museum: This watchtower, which once guarded Trongsa Dzong from internal rebellion, stands on a promontory above the town. It was built by Chogyal Minjur Tempa, the 1st Governor of Trongsa in 1652. It has four observation points resembling Tiger, Lion, Garuda and Dragon. Climb up the path to visit Ta Dzong which now houses a shrine dedicated to the epic hero, King Gesar of Ling. A visit to this former watchtower provides visitors with an insight into the significance of Trongsa in Bhutan’s history. Today the Ta Dzong of Trongsa is the most fascinating museum of the nation. The Ta Dzong has now been converted into a state-of-the Art Museum (National Museum) with technical and financial support provided by Austria. Trongsa Dzong: This is the largest Dzong (fortress) in Bhutan, located in the centre of the country. The Dzong is beautifully built on a spur overlooking the gorge of the Mangde Chhu River. The Dzong played very crucial role in the ancient history in protecting Bhutan and its sovereignty. The ruler of Trongsa Dzong was the most powerful leader to form Wangchuk Dynasty in the Kingdom of Bhutan. Yotongla pass at 3400m: The pass divides Trongsa and Bumthang districts. This is one of the highest motor-able road passes at the height of 3460m. The pass is covered with mist and prayer flags most of the time. It is worth for a stop for photo break.     Bumthang is the general name given to the combination of four valleys – Chumey, Chekhov, Tang & Ura. These valleys produce Honey, Cheese, Apples & Yathra (woolen colourful material). After breakfast visit Jampey Lhakhang, Kuje Lhakhang and Tamsing Monastery. Also visit the Jakar Dzong. Back to hotel. Overnight stay at Bumthang.
    After breakfast, proceed for a visit to the beautiful Phobjikha Valley and Goenpa /Goemba/ Gantey Monastery. The Phobjikha valley is home to the migration of the Blacked Crane in the months of Winter where the migrant birds a found in large number across the valley floor. Aslo visit Black Necked Crane Information Centre, you can enter the observation room and use the telescope and spotting scopes to watch the Black-necked crane (Grus nigricollis). National Museum of Bhutan: An ancient watchtower that now displays hundreds of ancient Bhutanese artifacts and artwork including traditional costumes, Armor, weaponry, and handcrafted implements for daily life. The collections represent the rich cultural traditions of the country. Rinpung Dzong: Rinpung Dzong is also known as Paro Dzong and it was Built in 1644 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, it is one of the best architectures.     Taktsang Monastery: After Breakfast Called to Tiger Nest Hiking (Time take Approx. Up and Down 5 Hrs.) Bhutan’s most iconic landmark and religious site. This temple clings impossibly to a sheer cliff face 900 meters above the Paro Valley. Taktsang Lhakhang is located approximately 10 km north of Paro town at an altitude of 3.120 m. To reach the temple visitors must trek for around 4-5 hours through beautiful, shady pine forests. No trip to Bhutan would be complete without a visit to this stunning heritage site.
